The Courtauld Gallery: run-up to reopening
Join Professor Sussan Babaie, Professor in the Arts of Iran and Islam, in conversation with Curator of Sculpture and Decorative Arts, while they discuss a range of topics in the run-up to the reopening of The Courtauld Gallery this autumn – including how you can use the Gallery during your studies.
Decolonisation Reading Group
The Research Forum will host mini decolonising reading groups on Friday 16 April to give you the opportunity to explore art history, curation, conservation and museum studies through a decolonising lens. You are encouraged to read Dan Hick’s ‘The Brutish Museums’ in preparation of the event.

BA History of Art Offer Holder Q&A webinar: Ahead of the UCAS acceptance deadline on 10 June, you may have some final questions about studying at The Courtauld. Our panel, led by an academic, Admissions and a student, will answer any questions that you may have, whether it is related to your studies, student life, living in London, and more. Conservation at The Courtauld: Join Austin Nevin, Head of Conservation, and Aviva Burnstock, Professor of Conservation, to find out more about the Conservation department, what happens in our Conservation studios, and the projects our department have been involved with. Alumni Insights events: Each Zoom event will focus on a sector or role, with alumni who have relevant and current experience speaking about their day-to-day work, their first steps into the role and tips and suggestions for how others can follow a similar path.
