Fees and booking
Any income generated by the Short Courses is used to support the work of The Courtauld Institute of Art in order to advance the study of art history and conservation.
The fee for each course in the Summer School is £395.
The Summer School course fee includes expert tuition and course materials on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
How to book and payment of fees
Full payment is due at the time of booking; we strongly advise booking early as our courses are very popular. Our short courses and tours make an unusual and memorable Christmas or birthday present, and gift vouchers are available on request, although please note we close our office on 18 December until 4 January.
How to book:
- Please email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the name of the course (eg “Summer School, Course 1”) in the subject line and provide your name and a contact telephone number, along with your booking request.
- We shall then let you know by email whether a place is available on your chosen course and, if so, we shall send you a link to a booking form (and the Flywire payment system), along with a deadline by which to pay.
N.B. If you are booking multiple courses, each of them requires a separate booking form
If you need to cancel your place, we shall refund the full fee (minus a £40 cancellation charge) provided that you cancel at least 8 weeks before the course commences. If you have to cancel after that date but more than 4 weeks before the start of the course, we shall refund 50% of the course fee. For cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the course, no refund will be payable. We do whatever we can to ensure that courses take place as advertised but we reserve the right to make changes or cancellations. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel any course, we shall repay your course fee in full.
All our courses are taught in English. A good command of the language is necessary to follow the lectures and seminars and to benefit from written course materials.
