Please note that the spring term will be taught online only. If face-to-face teaching will be possible by the summer term, and there is sufficient demand from the audience for it, lectures will be delivered on campus at Vernon Square in addition to being made available online.
Our teaching methodology
Our online teaching method consists of ten pre-recorded lectures and ten related Question & Answer sessions. For the spring and summer terms, lectures will be pre-recorded and each lecture will be made available to you from late afternoon on Friday and will remain accessible to you until 10 am on the Monday following the Q&A session. The Q&A sessions will happen live, on a Tuesday evening at 20:00 London Time, via Zoom. We aim to keep this session to around 30 minutes (the same time as our live discussions at Vernon Square), but if do not wish to speak, or are unable to participate at this time, you may also put questions and comments to our speakers via the student-to-lecturer forum on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
All Q&A sessions will be recorded and made available to you after each Tuesday, as part of your lecture playlist. You will also have access to course handouts, pdfs of powerpoints, and scanned pre-course readings on the VLE.
